Cherubim's Watch, 2025
Ink, watercolour and pastel on paper
Cherubim’s Watch is a visual journey through the layers of reality, blending the tangible with the mystical. At the bottom, two figures engage in a discussion—one animatedly describing hidden realms, while the other remains unconvinced. Behind them, their conversation unfolds into ethereal dimensions: first, angels emerge, followed by devas, all ascending toward the luminous source.
A central tree, inspired by Jungian symbolism, represents the Self—the path toward inner spiritual awakening. At its crown, a radiant mandala-like sun glows, signifying ultimate consciousness. Throughout the marbled textures, hidden figures emerge: a mother cradling her child, a guiding woman pointing the way, and a grand feminine presence who bows in reverence toward the angelic beings.
