Belle Marler is an illustration based artist that works closely with the subjects of intimacy and adolescence. Through her work she channels and explores her own ‘womanliness' as she matures into adulthood, creating scenes that evoke possible biographical or fantastical experiences.
Belle’s aim is to create a space where on-lookers can reflect on their own personal journey and relationships in an empathetic manner. Marler attempts to tackle major societal issues like the lack of communication and open conversation around sex which has led to a ‘No Sex Please We’re British’ culture and miss education of the younger generations.

Belle is currently studying a BA in Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art. She curated her own exhibition Acknowledgements too in her first year and also been apart of interim shows within the university and chosen to take part in Materialisation of the New the emerging artist exhibition at Darl-e and the Bear 2020.
