Marcus is a London based artist whose practice interrogates modern society through recurring characters and narratives. His often cartoonish imagery creates scenes that fit into a wider social commentary around masculinity and cultural identity. Placing himself as storyteller, he uses his own experiences as a springboard to discuss the poignancy, absurdity, and ugliness of the human condition, using his images to question the boundaries between safety and chaos, pain and pleasure, life and death.
Nelson is currently studying Fine Art at Central St Martins School of Art and a co-founder of the art collective called Boys Don’t Cry Uk, bringing awareness to the issue of men's mental health into discussion within the creative industry.
