We are passionate about art so we are really pleased you took the time to stop by.

 

Our artist-led gallery was founded by artist and designer Julie Wigg in 2019 with our first space in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. We have spent the last 5 years steadily growing our reputation, with an extensive programme of curated exhibitions in Woodstock and London, showing our gallery artists and a wide variety of invited artists, at carefully selected Art Fairs and exhibition spaces across the UK.

 

We believe in strongly in supporting the future and show carefully selected work by emerging and contemporary artists who forge their own pathways, producing artworks which are thought-provoking, heartfelt and innovative.

 

We also operate our own easy purchase scheme which breaks down the financial barriers of collecting that special piece of art, allowing payments to be spread over 10 interest-free months ( artworks up to £2000 )

 

Darl.e and the Bear is an unoffical not-for-profit artist-led gallery, and support a selected group of charities.
Our strong set of values guide and inspire us - inclusivity, accessibility, welcoming, passionate and above all very proud of who show and what we are.

 

We now operate from our beautiful small gallery and viewing room in North Oxfordshire, but our work takes us Nationwide.
